Sculpted in WED clay, then molded, then created in epoxy resin. The sculpture is removed from the mold , then trimmed and carefully polished to perfection. After stripping away the mold releases, a base coat is applied. After the base coat, the finish paint is applied. The eyes are hand-painted glass. Originally created for a major zoo display in Texas. The sculpture was approved by the zoo's experts, prior to being molded. There are under 20 of these in existence. Second image presents the fine detail in the sculpture.
